Welcome to the Australian College of Researchers.
Technological innovations explode onto the world stage redefining work and home life, while long held traditions are questioned and new ‘normals’ emerge. One could argue it’s a time of trepidation or perhaps a time to stop and take stock of what is and what could be. But no matter how you see the world of the 2020’s you cannot but admire the contribution made by research. Researchers stand at the forefront of the challenges and opportunities that humankind faces today and of course what tomorrow will bring. Research and researchers perhaps stand as the last bastions of hope for a better world and perhaps the only promise of better things to come. With these points in mind I am delighted to welcome you to the Australian College of Researchers. The College, while based in Australia, is a college of global significance, but fundamentally built on enabling and supporting research esteem.
The college has four key foci:
• Developing, recognising and promoting research and publication excellence through the awarding of Fellowships of the College.
• Providing innovative and engaging customised professional learning activities to advance research excellence globally .
• Facilitating and enabling-multi-nation/ inter-disciplinary/ explorative research opportunities in all fields of endeavour.
• Advocating and promoting research excellence across Australia and globally for the betterment of human-kind
